Established in 1952, the Classics Students' Association (CSA) of the University of Peradeniya is a dynamic student-led body committed to preserving, promoting, and reinterpreting the legacy of the classical world in today’s academic and cultural landscape.
We support students in their journey through ancient languages, literature, philosophy, and history, offering a platform to explore Greco-Roman traditions and their relevance to the modern world.
Our initiatives include public lectures, publications, creative exhibitions, language workshops, film screenings, and collaborative events with both local and international institutions.
CSA fosters a tight-knit academic community while encouraging interdisciplinary dialogue and critical thinking beyond the classroom.
